miR-187 was significantly overexpressed in GC tissues and associated with malignant clinical factors. miR-187 significantly increased migration, invasion, and proliferation, but inhibited apoptosis in GC cells. CRMP1 tumor suppressor is a direct target of miR-187 in GC. Overexpression of miR-187 promoted GC progression by targeting tumor suppressor gene CRMP1.
