First molecular detection of Anaplasma phagocytophilum in cats in Korea Pathogenic A. phagocytophilum from the Korean HGA case belonged to the alanine group by genetic analysis. groEL and msp2 gene sequences could be used as a regional fingerprint for A. phagocytophilum.
