We examined α-herpesviral DNAemia for 100 days after alloHSCT. Frequent HSV-1 asymptomatic reactivations with low- copy DNAemia were detected. Low rate of symptomatic reactivations were observed. GvHD episodes and donor source type were two major risk factors for HSV-1 reactivation.
