Fatigue test results for cathodically protected (CP) notched specimens are presented. The CP effect relative to air is quantified for the notched specimens. The CP effect is also compared with the CP effect on smooth specimens. The CP effect is compared with the fatigue life reduction factor used in BS 7608.
