A model of a two-pipe system equipped with a room-temperature water loop has been developed in the Modelica modeling language. Annual energy use for a reference office building has been compared between the two-pipe system and a conventional four-pipe system. Total primary energy savings for heating, cooling and ventilation are around 12–18%.
