Reviews on preparation methods and thermal conductivity of nanofluids. Various application of nanofluids in engineering are discussed. Reviews on various methods of cooling in machining process. Better understandings on the application of nanoparticles in lubricant for machining, especially MQL, are provided. High production cost and stability problem limit vast application nanofluids.
