Experimental investigation on surface wettability of copper-based dry bioelectrodes

A superhydrophobic dry bioelectrode was successfully fabricated.

Forming process of surface microstructure array of bioelectrodes is discussed.

The contact angle on bioelectrode surfaces under different conditions is investigated.

The contact angle with deionized water and sweat water was greater than 150°.

Our developed copper-based bioelectrode shows better hydrophobic property.
