Showed a method to create the weather data for AC design for Osaka, Japan. Created four types of weather data using two weather indices for heating and cooling design. Estimated the peak hourly thermal loads of a simulation using different weather data. Compared peak hourly thermal loads among these different weather data to standard TAC estimations. Selected method least likely to overestimate thermal loads to create design weather data.
