This article develops the health-supportive side effects framework. Side effects are explored using the example of food shopping patterns. The paper discusses indirect, less intrusive ways of stimulating healthier shopping behaviors. Quality and physical appearance consciousness are health-unrelated, but foster healthy food choices.
