Effects of monoethylene glycol (MEG) on three-phase flow characteristics in near-horizontal pipes

Three-phase flow tests are conducted for stratified wavy flow in horizontal pipes. Effects of vSL, vSg, inlet APF and MEG presence in aqueous phase are analyzed. Wave pattern, HL, pressure gradient and flowing APF are the measured parameters. Predictions of common multiphase flow models are compared to the experimental data. A statistical analysis is done to find applicable modeling closure relationships.
