Experimental evaluation on tribological performance of the wheel/workpiece interface in minimum quantity lubrication grinding with different concentrations of Al2O3 nanofluids
MQL grinding using different concentrations of Al2O3 nanofluids was experimental evaluated. The film-forming formation mechanism was analyzed of nanofluids in MQL grinding. The lubricating property of nanofluids is better than pure palm oil. The appropriate nanoparticle concentration have good tribological performance. Al2O3 nanofluids can be substituted for hazardous metal cutting fluids.
