Transcriptional repression of HER2 by ANO1 Cl channel inhibition in human breast cancer cells with resistance to trastuzumab

HER2-positive BCA cells overexpress Ca2+-activated Cl− channel ANO1. HER2-positive BCA YMB-1 cells are resistant to trastuzumab. ANO1 inhibition induces transcriptional repression of HER2 in YMB-1 cells. HDAC3 inhibition induces transcriptional repression of HER2 via ANO1 in YMB-1 cells. ANO1 inhibition does not affect IGFBP5 transcription in YMB-1 cells.
