OIP5 is frequently up-regulated in breast cancer tissues. The over-expression of OIP5 is associated with advanced clinical stage and poor prognosis. OIP5 is a pro-proliferative oncogene for breast cancer. OIP5 regulate breast cancer cell proliferation through miR-139-5p/Notch1 pathway.
