Exploits neurological information to divide the electrodes among five brain regions. Alleviates problem of small sample size and non-stationarity of existing CSP method. Employs Recursive Feature Elimination and composite kernel SVM to rank brain regions. Determines a reduced set of electrodes to discriminate motor imagery tasks. Outperforms existing methods on publicly available datasets.
