Revealing student nurses' perceptions of human dignity through curriculum co-design

Student nurses conceptualise dignity in care as shifting, experiential and fragile. Dignity in care is conceptualised as a challenge to existing healthcare cultures. Student nurses would like to see dignity given more prominence in the curriculum. Student nurses propose both experiential and experimental pedagogical strategies. A typology for inclusion is: recognise, observe, experience, reflect and refresh.
