The production of the hypertriton nuclei and has been measured for the first time in Pb–Pb collisions at 95d1ff824360d8f4b21694d"> with the ALICE experiment at LHC. The k to view the MathML source">pT-integrated yield in one unity of rapidity, in the 0–10% most central collisions, is consistent with the predictions from a statistical thermal model using the same temperature as for the light hadrons. The coalescence parameter k to view the MathML source">B3 shows a dependence on the transverse momentum, similar to the 95752b732a7875a136bcba" title="Click to view the MathML source">B2 of deuterons and the k to view the MathML source">B3 of 3He nuclei. The ratio of yields was measured to be i9" class="mathmlsrc">i9.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0370269316000575&_rdoc=1&_issn=03702693&md5=d7332616ed2692bd9a6c492564fb1508" title="Click to view the MathML source">S3=0.60±0.13(stat.)±0.21(syst.) in 0–10% centrality events; this value is compared to different theoretical models. The measured k to view the MathML source">S3 is compatible with thermal model predictions. The measured lifetime, is in agreement within 1σ with the world average value.
