SbxSe1−x(0.1,0.2 and 0.3) alloy film films were prepared onto glass and quartz substrates by thermal evaporation technique. Structural, morphology and optical characteristics of the films were analyzed. Optical band gap was found to indirect and decrease with increase in Sb-content. Urbach energy, skin depth, steepness and electron-phonon interaction were studied as a function of Sb-content. Dispersion parameters were obtained on the basis of single oscillator model.
