Examined PD, ataques de nervios, and death of a loved one in Latino asthma patients. Examined emotional triggers in Latino asthma patients experiencing these conditions. All three conditions predicted a higher frequency of psychological asthma triggers. Asthma patients with PD reported greater impact of triggers on their daily lives. Clinical interventions should address psychosocial stressors in asthma patients.
