摘要

This booklet was prepared for the use of soil survey field parties,-especially in China. It is very largely designed after the “Instructions to Field Parties”of the Bureau of Soils at Washington, published in 1914, and in fact there are many long passages and several diagrams copied almost verbatim from this work.
