Crystal formation problems are of great interest in science and technology. Modern solid-state physics(piezo-and ferroelectricity. ferromagnetism, luminescence, photoelectricity, semiconduction, optics of new crystalline media)is closely bound up with the study and use of large uniform crystals, to grow which demands a many-sided and profound study of crystallization processes.
