The authors carried out the studies on the lithological characteristics, the types of diagenesis, the division of digenetic stages and the influence on pore based on the routine thin sections, the cast thin sections, SEM, X-ray, cathode luminescence at Es₃ in Qibei ramp of Qikou Sag. The study showed the types of diagenesis included both feldspathic litharenite and lithic arkose in the reservoirs at Es₃. The reservoirs at present were developed in the early-diagenesis B stage to the middle-diagenesis stage but a part of those was under the late-diagenesis stage. Compaction, cementation, metasomatism, denudation, cataclasis were all found in these reservoirs.
