This paper were adopted Chemical, ultrasonic and mechanical dispersing method were used to study the mechanism and process conditions of dispersion effect of alkyl poly-glycosides on attapulgite micropowder. The experiment was carried out under the conditions of pH value of 12, starch alkyl poly-glycosides surfactant of dispersant of 0.7%, 8 000r.min-1 high shear rate, ultrasonic time of 13 min and ultrasonic power of 180 W. The TEM and SEM results proved that attapulgite clay ultrafine powder was dispersed with starch alkyl poly-glycosides with good effect and stability.
