///Based on the geologic characteristics of the country rock of the expressway tunnel, the paper puts forward an evaluation criterion of the country rock and the construction method in the construction of the Longgeling tunnel which is situated at the more complicated area such as the Quaternary soil horizon, the weathered rock formation and the shattered fault zone.
