Refined Evaluating Thickness of Extra-Low Permeability Reservoir Using Lithophase Classification—Take the Chang 6 Extra-Low Permeability Reservoir of the Yanhewan Area as an Example
This study defined the effective thickness of extra-low permeability reservoirs using lithophase classification, due to the fact that extra-low permeability reservoirs in the middle section of the Shanbei slope are affected by depositional settings, reservoir performance, diagenesis and structures, reservoir performance and infiltrating textural difference varies greatly, and log responses were complicated. Taking the Chang 6 as an example, this study analyzed and extracted the denotive parameters of classification for lithophase of extra-low permeability reservoir, and this solved heterogeneous, non-linear problems by converting them into relatively homogeneous, linear ones, which improves the precision and effect of reservoir effective thickness using well logging interpretation.
