The surface of an area is exposed with lead--zinc mineralization and crystal, because of the high polarizability but low resistivity of the zine, meanwhile crystal usually has low resistivity and low or non polarizability, we first used the TEM and confirmed that there existed a low resistivity geological body, but not sure what the abnormal body was, even the multiple drilling engineering were proved to fail. Finally the I)(2--induced polarization method was applied in this region and obtained that the low resistivity abnormal body has high polarization. Combining the physical property measurement results with the surface geology feature, we conclude the abnormal body is lead--zinc. After the engineering verification, the result is satisfactory.
