摘要
The dedolomitization of algal dolomite of Middle Cambrian in the Keping area, Tarim Basin, is firstly reported in this work. Dedolomitization occurred only in the algal dolomite which has a high porosity, and only those algal dolomites which are adjacent to the gypsum sequences were dedolomitized. Dolomite residues can be found in the algal limestone and algal calcareous dolomite under BSE images, and they can be divided to two groups:arborization and mortary dolomite residues. The former has plenty of calcite inclusions and high Ca2+/Mg2+ ratios, the dedolomitization is relatively thorough, while the latter is relatively clear, and the Ca2+/Mg2+ ratios are near 1.
