The Wuyang Taihua Group is divided into three formations: Zhao’anzhuang Formation, Tieshanmiao Formation and Dangzehe Formation. Through the geological exploration, sampling and study on the Zhao’an zhuang Formation and Tieshanmiao Formation, and based on analyzing major elements, trace elements and REEs of these two formations, this paper discusses geological formation processing, tectonic setting and ore-controlling significance of the Wuyang Taihua Group.
