The authors present briefly the regional geological context of the Jiujiang-Ruichang metallogenetic belt, and elaborate systemically geological features of the Aoxia-Dingjiashan area. Then, the authors analyze the ore-search prospect of this area. Finally, the authors find that the lithological difference surface between Ordovician calcareous rock at depth along this belt and the Silurian sandstone/shale is very similar to that between the Huanglong (Group) calcareous rock and Wutong (Group) sandstone in the Wushan and Chengmenshan deposits, which would be the important “second ore-search space” in the Jiujiang-Ruichang area.
