A lot of electric power projects of Hubei Province, located in the karst areas. In these areas, the location, depth and filling of karst cave is the focus of engineering investigations. This paper discusses the principles and techniques methods of geological radar, introduces the application of geological radar to karst prospecting for wind power project in Qiyue hill, Lichuan, Hubei Province through a practical project example.
