Crystal Structure Solution from X-Ray Powder Diffraction Data from Chetian Zeolite

     The zeolite from Chetian in Guangxi is stellerite, based on the chemical composition, TG, FFIR and X-ray diffraction and the structure refinement of the investigated sample. The infrared spectra of the sam- ples does not appear obvious absorption peak within 1 300 - 1 500 em- 1 range, and the FTIR spectra of the in- vestigated sample is more consistent with the F13R spectra of stellerite. Rietveld crystal structure refinement re- sults prove that the investigated sample is stellerite, and X-ray powder diffraction studies show that the stellerite space group is Fmmm with unit cell parameters a = 1. 355 3 hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">( 3 hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">) nm, b = 1. 820 9 hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">(4hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">) nm, c = 1. 779 5 hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">(4hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">) nm, ct =/3 =T = 90hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">°, V = 4. 392 hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">(3hansi-font-family: ’times new roman’">)nm3. The rietveld refinement of the data set converges to Rp = 10. 78% , Rwp = 14. 41% , Rexp =4.57% , X2 =9. 942.
