摘要
Through analyzing the geological statistics and experimental data of shale samples, it is considered that shale gas can develop in Upper Paleozoic reservoir in the eastern Uplift. The gas content is an impollant parameter to evaluate the shale gas directly. The gas-bearing properties of Upper Paleozoic Taiyuan and Shanxi Formations shale gas are systematically analyzed based on the shale distribtution, organic geochemical characteristics, physical properties, gas generation capability and gas-hearing content. Comprehensive evaluation shows that the gas-bearing properties of Upper Paleozoic shale in eastern Uplift is good, which is the potential formation for shale gas exploration.
