摘要

According to ten evaluation methods of the lateral sealing of normal fault in clastic reservoirs,the advantages,disadvantages and application range of each method are discussed comprehensively based on basic principles in this paper.The evaluation methods of lateral sealing of fault are summarized into four categories,they are fault rock sealing,the related parameters analysis of fluid on both sides of faults,lithology juxtaposition and comprehensive method.Each method has certain limitations and is selected according to the specific situation analysis.But in general,lithology juxtaposition and the related parameters analysis of fluid on both sides of faults are the basic descriptions and the basis of sealing evaluation and prediction.If fault juxtaposition is against reservoir rock,SGR is more mature evaluation method at present.
