Based on the indoor triaxial compression creep test of the mud rock in the southern Shaanxi Province, the parameter values of Burgers model about the mud rock are determined, and the rheology characteristics of the mud rock are described. On this basis, the triaxial compression creep test under the different shapes and confining pressures of the test models are simulated respectively. The results showed that the strain values of cylinder sample are smaller than that of cube sample totally. As a result, the definite reference for the more study on the rheology characteristics of the mud rock in the southern Shaanxi is provided.
