The accurate recognition and effective rejection of the multiple have become the premise to the studies of oil:field development applied by seismic techniques. By the NMO-corrected CDP gather, velocity spectra, offset profiles and well-logging data, long journey and interbedded multiples are thought to well develop in the major oil reservoirs ; forward modeling of the well logging data reveals that the amplitude relations among the reflected waves of S2 Oil Group are seriously damaged by the interbedded multiples. During the actual data processing, the three techniques are implemented to reject the multiples: Q-value compensation, surface consistent deconvolution and Radon transform. Thus the amplitude relations can be rejuvenated and the quality of the seismic data can be en-hanced.
