摘要
The hyalophanes discovered in north Hebei Province are subhedral-anhedral grains within the rodingites from the Baiqi and Sandaogou areas in Neopaleozoic Hongqiyingzi Group. Studies of chemical composition, X-ray diffraction and infrared spectrum show that hyalophanes formed under the low temperature, and the content of BaO in hyalophanes varies from 2.25% to 6.70%. These hyalophanes may be formed by the barium-rich fluid metasomatism. The bariums may come from the hydrothermal barites.
