Extraction of Prospecting Information for the Lüliangshan Copper Deposit, Qinghai Province and Its Metallogenic Prediction
详细信息
摘要
The Lvliangshan copper deposit located in the northern marginal of the Qaidam Basin belongs to the East Kunlun metallogenic belt, and is one of the important metal mineralization zones in western China. Based on detailed geology surveys, drainage sediment measurements, high-accuracy magnetic sweeping and remote sensing interpretations, in combination with the mineralization conditions, geochemical characteristics, geophysical characteristics and remote sensing image features, we selected anomaly information relevant to mineralization, and extracted and summarized prospecting indicators. The near-ore wall-rock alterations such as silication, pyritization, chloritization, epidotization and sericitization are an indirect symbol for prospecting copper deposits. The areas with superposed composite circular structures from remote sensing interpretations and alteration information are favorable for ore prospecting. Northwest of the anomaly area of Cu, Au and Bi exist many copper and gold mineralization clues. The distribution of strong magnetic anomaly gradient zones reflects the position of deep fractures. Significant hydrothermal alteration haloes are also an important symbol to find such deposits on remote sensing images. We delineated three prospecting targets of I and II classes in Lvliangshan.
