On the basis of study situation on the settlement observation at home and abroad, this paper discusses how to improve operation efficiency of the settlement observation. Combined with the building settlement observation example of the Ya-Ao National Square, the settlement monitoring data has been analyzed and sorted. At this stage, the authors mainly utilize GIS software to simulate the 3-D settlement, and draw the settlement isolines. According to above-mentioned work, the authors consider that the building settlement of the Ya-Ao National Square is rational, and suggest how to improve operation efficiency of the settlement observation, and how to effectively analyze data and study result.
