摘要
The vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit lies in the Panxi area,a large-scale steel and iron production base in China.It occurs in layered mafic and ultramafic pyroxenolite and gabbro rock bodies,and is confined to the paleo-uplift zones of the Panxi rift.The ore-bearing rock bodies intruded along the Anninghe deep fault,the Xigeda-Yuanmou fault and the Panzhihua fault.The ore-bearing rock body is only restricted in the Hercynian basic-ultrabasic rock.The lithological combination trinity of basic-ultrabasic rock,Dengyingzu Formation,calcareous limestone and Emei basalt are crucial for the large-sized and ultra-large-sized deposits in this region.
