This paper describes the influence of metal on environment and uses Shanhu W-Sn deposit in Zhongshan county of Guangxi province as an example. It also analyzes the problems related to environmental geology of the mining area and their causes. Through establishing a multi-layer fuzzy evaluation model and defining the evaluation factor set and specific evaluation factors, the author makes quantitative research on environmental geology evaluation by adopting the approach of fuzzy comprehensive assessment.
