Radioactive Environmental Survey of Bailongjiang Downstream Regions
In this paper, survey of radon in air, using vehicle gamma spectrometry and ground gamma spectrometry in the nuclear affected and non-affected area in the downstream of Bailongjiang River were achieved to obtain the basic radioactive elements information about this area. The results show that the contents of U, Th, and K are consistent with the characteristics of the local strata and the background. The concentration of radon in air is in the range of 183.9~305.8 Bq/m3,which is at the normal level. There is obviously no any environmental risk for this region. Furthermore, the radioactive level of this region is basically under the limited content of the national standard.
