Evaluation the Atmospheric Correction of the Flaash Algorithm with EO-1 Hyperion Hyperspectral Imagery Data
In practice, it is importance to eliminate atmospheric effects on the EO-1 Hyperion Hyperspectral imagery, this process knows as atmospheric correction and atmospheric compensation. In this paper, the latest version of FLAASH atmosphere correction code derives was introduced, and some comparisons of with FLAASH and MNF processed EO-1 Hyperion data, including results obtained using different processing options were showed. A preliminary evaluation to FLAASH algorithm was done in this paper and the result showed that this process improves the quality of the output reflectance and this method of atmospheric correct way is effective.
