IP method has been used in the exploration in Nyainqêntanglha range, for determining of target areas of ore prospecting and induced electrical sounding is also used to deduce the spatial occurrence of the anomaly body to provide evidence for engineering verification. Combined with the geological data, the anomaly in Xiangbei and Gema ore field has been tested with some discoveries of orebody or mineralization body. The result shows that the induced polarization method plays an important part in exploration in Nyainqêntanglha range in Tibet.
