The south copper deposit in Boka ore field was divided into two types: stratabound type and hydrothermal type. The ore-bearing strata of hydrothermal veined were primary Qinglongshan Formation and Heishan Formation. The authors summarized the characteristics of the two types of copper deposits, analyzed the ore-controlling factors and discussed the material sources for copper deposit and set up ore-searching indictors. It was concluded that Renzhanshi and Xiaoshijiangjun areas were located in stratabound copper deposit of Luoxue Formation and were likely become potential copper deposits if intensive prospecting were conducted there.
