摘要

The Fuyang region, located in the eastern part of the Zhoukou Depression of the southern North China Basin, covers 11000 km2, one third of the depression in area. The basin is divided into 6 concaves and 4 convexes according to Mesozoic and Cenozoic tectonic features. With the furthering of oil and gas exploration and geologic research, the author made a seismic sequence division and seismic facies study using the seismic sections of the region and then transferred the seismic facies into depositional facies, laying a basis for prospecting of Paleozoic oil and gas in the region.
