摘要

The Lower Cambrian Maidiping Formation in Leibo, Sichuan Province is phosphorite-hosted. The results indicate that the phosphorite is characterized by stable horizon, high grade and large scale, being a biochemical-sedimentary deposit in a semi-enclosed stagnant bay. Geological setting in the Majingzi-Niuniuzhai region shows the prospecting perspective for the phosphorite deposit.
