Guizhou boasts six world tops of the Triassic geologic -paleontologic vestiges: 1) the most spectacular landscape and the most completely recorded evolution history of the longest Triassic shallow - to -bathyal sea transition belt;  2) the most systematically preserved vestiges and landscapes of the Triassic sea-land- alternating transformations; 3) the best preserved and studied Triassic isolated carbonate platform - The Great Bank of Guizhou; 4) the best and most colorful Triassic marine reptile- crinoid fauna; 5) the earliest and biggest Triassic Tubiphytes reefs; and 6) the best preserved Early Triassic bathyal trace fossil groups. All these are of the world - class natural heritages that should be protected and based on to apply and establish a world geopark.
