The Taishantou copper polymetallic ore deposit located in Shangkang county, Fujian province is a middle-low temperature hydrothermal deposit and the hydrogeological conditions of the deposit is medium with the fracture filled with water directly. The main ore body is below the elevation of 560 meters, where the topography is beneficial to drain naturally. But because the thicknesses of the quaternary loosen stratum and weathering zone change and many faults are present, collapse or water inrush incidents could occur caused by drainage.
