摘要

At cement factory of Dongyingfang, Jixian County, Tianjin occur stromatolite limestone resources in Upper Member of Tieling Formation of Middle Proterozoic Jixian System. The resources volume is estimated at 10 million m³. The stromatolite limestone is a micro-organism fossil deposit with beautiful color and grain thus can be processed into decorative surface material and semifinished product of crafts. Value of the stromatolite limestone would be doubled by market development. The development is remarkable both socially and economically.
