Chunhu gold ore exist in the fourth acidic volcanoclastic rocks of Upper Jurassic Nanyuan Formation and are controlled by secondary faults of Jikeng-Chunhu NW fault. Four gold orebodys have been discovered in the deposit and its act like a lenticular and long lenticular occurrence. The ore types are the pyritization guartz vein and sericite-pyritization-silicifield alteration rock. Preliminary studies show that the deposit belongs to the structural altered rock type which related to the Late Jurassic volcano effect.
