///The matallogenetic unit is the concentration present of the regional mineralization regularity research result; it is the foundation of the prospecting and exploration or forcecasting assessment of mineral resources. According to the new situation and demand, on the foundation of former data, the authors discussed the classification of Xinjiang metallogenic unit. In the first, the authors roundly classification of the Ⅳ matallogenetic belt, xinjiang area spans three metallogenetic prospect areas of Pal-asia, Qinqikun, and Tethyan, in this time, the authors divided this area into eight grade Ⅱ metallogenetic province, such as altay, junggar, ili, tarim, altun-qilian, kunlun, bayan har-songpan, karakorum-sanjiang, and 24 grade Ⅲmetallogenetic belt, 84 grade Ⅳmetallogenetic belt, the variety and complexity of it is scarcely in the other province of our country, in the foundment of it, the authors take some study on metallogenic characteristics of all the metallogenetic unit.
